Q11: How is the artwork professionally packaged and shipped?
To ensure museum-grade protection during global transit, all artworks are packed using industry-standard materials tailored to the framing type:
Unframed (Rolled Canvas):
  • Carefully rolled with acid-free interleaving paper
  • Sealed in a durable archival tube with 3mm moisture barrier
  • Ends reinforced to prevent crushing
  • Ideal for professional framing upon arrival
Framed or Stretched Canvas (Ready-to-Hang):
  • Wrapped in protective plastic film with corner protectors
  • Secured with EPE foam wrap (≥20mm) for shock absorption
  • Placed in either:
  1. A 7-layer export-grade corrugated carton, or
  2. A custom wooden crate (for oversized or high-value works)
  • Includes accessory pack: gloves, hanging hardware, and care instructions
All packaging is compliant with international gallery and hospitality-grade art logistics standards.

Once production is complete:

Q13: Is shipping insured?
Yes — fully insured door-to-door.
Claims must be submitted within 48 hours with:

🔁 Returns & Policy Overview
Q16: Are returns allowed?
All sales are final unless:
  • Damage occurs during shipping (with proof)
  • Final artwork deviates >30% from the last approved version
  • Return process:
  • Must be pre-approved
  • Buyer pays return shipping with full insurance

Q17: Can I return a custom or commissioned artwork? What are the conditions and fees?
A: Custom and commissioned artworks are unique creations made specifically for you. Therefore, we generally do not accept returns unless there is a significant issue such as damage during shipping or a major deviation from the approved design.
If you believe there is a valid reason to return your artwork, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with clear photos of the item for approval. Approved returns must meet the following conditions: the artwork must be unused, unmounted, and returned in its original packaging.
For approved returns, refunds will be subject to the following deductions to fairly compensate for materials, labor, and handling:
  • 5% non-refundable deposit (reserved production slot and materials)
  • 10% artist creative time fee
  • $39 packaging and handling fee
  • 20% restocking fee
Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping costs must be covered by the buyer with full insurance and tracking. Returns without prior approval or proper documentation will not be accepted.
We encourage you to communicate with us before ordering to ensure your expectations are met and to minimize any potential issues.

Q18: How is damage during transit addressed?
We take transit-related damage seriously and have a strict claims process to protect both our artists and collectors from fraud or abuse.
To qualify for a full replacement or refund, you must follow these steps within 48 hours of delivery:
  1. Retain all original packaging (including inner and outer boxes, protective materials, and shipping label).
  2. Submit an unboxing video showing the unopened package being opened from start to finish, clearly displaying the damage.
  3. Provide at least 6 clear photos of the damage from different angles, including full artwork views and close-ups of affected areas.
  4. Include any available documentation from the carrier (e.g., claim confirmation or report, if issued).
We reserve the right to deny claims that are submitted without adequate proof or outside the 48-hour timeframe.
All eligible claims will be processed with:
  • Free replacement or full refund
  • Return shipping covered by us

🔒 Anti-Fraud Notice (For Damage or Return Claims)
To ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of all artworks, ParfaiteArt enforces the following measures:
  • All artworks are photographed in natural lighting and documented in high resolution before dispatch.
  • Each shipment is tracked, and all condition records are matched against original files upon return.
  • Limited editions are individually signed, numbered, and recorded internally.
ParfaiteArt reserves the right to decline refunds or replacements in cases of:
  • suspected tampering or damage after delivery
  • inconsistencies between returned items and original shipping records
  • fraudulent or abusive return claims
We appreciate your understanding as these measures protect both our artists and genuine collectors.

Q19: How are copyrights and usage rights handled?
  • Artists retain full intellectual property rights under §12 of the German Copyright Act (UrhG), including moral rights and reproduction rights.
  • Buyers/Collectors are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual right to display the physical artwork in private or public settings. Resale of the original piece is permitted.
  • Restrictions: Commercial reproduction, licensing, AI training, or creation of derivative works without written permission from the artist is strictly prohibited.
